CRM & Marketing Automation Specialist

  • Empresa confidencial
  • Barcelona
  • Híbrido
  • Jornada completa

Descripción del puesto

Our client is a Barcelona-based technology company that builds digital products for large international corporations. Its agile, multidisciplinary teams own the full lifecycle of each product and work as strategic partners to the businesses they serve.

About the role

We are looking for a CRM & Marketing Automation Specialist who combines technical curiosity with hands-on execution and a passion for great customer experiences. The role sits at the heart of CRM operations for pharmacy brands across Europe, and suits someone who enjoys working inside marketing automation platforms: configuring, building, testing and making sure everything runs smoothly.

You will report to the CRM & Marketing Automation Product Owner. While the Product Owner defines the flows and business requirements, you will bring them to life inside the martech stack: setting up the environment, preparing countries for launch, adapting the platform to local needs and making sure the technical foundations are solid before journeys go live.

This is a hybrid role with two days a week in the Barcelona office. As one of the early members of a new product team, you will help shape the processes and ways of working that will scale across many countries, and your work will reach millions of pharmacy customers.

Responsabilidades

  • Prepare and configure the martech environment so European markets can activate CRM: events, triggers, channel connectors, permissions, naming conventions and core structures.
  • Adapt the platform setup to each market while keeping a unified, scalable approach.
  • Build and optimise automated journeys from the Product Owner's flow logic: multi-step flows, conditions, branches, delays, splits, re-entry rules and lifecycle triggers.
  • Design and validate segmentation logic so audiences move through journeys correctly based on attributes, events, behaviour or status changes.
  • Create emails, push notifications and SMS using drag-and-drop builders or basic HTML, with the help of AI tools.
  • Run thorough QA on automations: data behaviour, entry and exit logic, triggers, timing and the experience across channels.
  • Work with the development team to review event mappings and troubleshoot integrations, without needing to write code.
  • Act as the link between country marketing teams, the Product Owner and developers, translating business needs into configuration and technical constraints into clear business language.
  • Support country teams, promote new journeys in each market and monitor automation performance to detect drop-offs, wrong triggers or segmentation issues.
  • Contribute to the CRM operating framework: documentation, best practices, governance and scaling across markets.

Requisitos

  • Hands-on experience configuring marketing automation platforms (building flows, setting triggers, segmentation, QA).
  • Comfortable working with customer data: attributes, events, lifecycle stages and behavioural logic.
  • Ability to translate flow diagrams and requirements into in-platform configuration.
  • Experience setting up or evolving martech environments (events, schemas, channel setups or platform foundations).
  • Comfortable creating email, push and SMS messages with drag-and-drop builders or basic HTML.
  • Functional understanding of APIs, event tracking and real-time triggers, enough to work with developers (no coding required).
  • Strong problem-solving and QA mindset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to support markets with different levels of CRM maturity.
  • Fluent Spanish and English; German or another European language is a plus.
  • Based in, or able to commute to, Barcelona two days a week.

Nice to have

  • Experience with large B2C digital products driven by lifecycle automation or real-time events.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or retail industry.
  • Familiarity with mobile app ecosystems (push notifications, in-app events, customer lifecycle).
  • Experience with loyalty programmes or reward-based engagement.
  • Experience of martech rollouts or platform onboarding across several markets.
