About the role

Our client is a Spanish consumer-health company that develops and sells food supplements. It has a long track record in the sector, several brands and a broad product portfolio, with a presence both in Spain and in international markets.

As it keeps growing its brands and digital channels, the company is looking for an Amazon & Marketplaces Specialist to take ownership of its Amazon business and help grow the marketplace channel.

About the role

You will be responsible for managing the Amazon channel end to end for all of the company's brands and products, keeping operations running smoothly and actively driving growth and profitability. The role combines the operational, analytical and commercial sides of Amazon, with a high level of autonomy over the day-to-day running of the channel.

Although the initial focus is mainly on Amazon, the role has the potential to expand gradually to other marketplaces and to take on greater responsibility for developing this channel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day Amazon operation for all brands and products, making sure the channel runs smoothly.
  • Oversee and maintain the catalogue, listings, content, pricing, promotions, availability and product visibility.
  • Handle issues with Amazon and follow them up until they are resolved.
  • Monitor channel performance together with the external agency, analysing the key business KPIs: sales, traffic, conversion, availability and profitability.
  • Identify growth opportunities and propose actions to increase sales, improve conversion and optimise channel performance.
  • Track stock and availability, anticipating stock-outs and coordinating with Operations and Logistics.
  • Coordinate new product launches on Amazon, working across Marketing, Operations, Logistics and Finance.
  • Prepare reporting on the main KPIs and gradually take part in developing other marketplaces and markets.

Requirements

  • University degree or vocational qualification in economics, business or marketing.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central.
  • Solid knowledge of how Amazon works: catalogue, listings, inventory, promotions and case management.
  • Analytical skills and experience working with e-commerce and business KPIs.
  • Good command of Excel and comfortable working with data every day.
  • Organised, solution-oriented and able to manage different priorities on your own.
  • Fluent English.

What we offer

  • Permanent contract.
  • Fixed salary of €30,000–40,000 gross per year plus a variable component, depending on experience.
  • On-site role at the offices in Sant Boi de Llobregat (Barcelona).
  • Schedule: Monday to Thursday 8:00–17:00 and Friday 8:00–14:00.
  • Room to grow the role into other marketplaces and markets.
